石 (ishi) is a collection of organic nesting tables inspired by the Japanese word for stone, reflecting the timeless elegance of weathered river rocks. The table tops feature edges that evoke the natural, worn contours of stones, while the contrasting hard edges of the concave and convex forms highlight the rounded softness of the tables.

Originally designed for Bernhardt Design, the Ishi tables were CNC-machined from walnut, maple, and red oak. The collection was offered in a variety of shapes/sizes and features leg heights of 14, 16, and 18 inches. Ishi was designed with versatility in mind and can be customized to seamlessly complement a wide range of interior environments.

I had the opportunity to present the Ishi collection with Bernhardt Design at their booth during ICFF in New York and in their showroom at NeoCon in Chicago. It was an invaluable experience that allowed me to build meaningful connections within the North American design industry.
